Gharib Field Revamp

SPEC provided the Design, Procurement and Fabrication of Crude Oil Heating, Separation and Flare System for the Gharib Treatment Plant at the Eastern Desert Field in Egypt. It comprised of two (2) X 15000 BOPD Sour Oil (7.2 Mol% H2S and 1.93 Mol% CO2) Processing trains and included the following auxiliaries:

SPEC contracted and completed the project in the same year, 2010. The services scope was for the engineering, project management, procurement, construction supervision, and commissioning of a two-train 25,000 BOPD production facility which comprised separation trains, water bath heaters, oil dehydrators, oil stabilization units, and crude export pumps. The facility also treated 25 MMSCFD Gas Dehydration and Dew Point Control Units along with a 10,000 BWPD CPI and IGF water treatment package. Complete Automation was also included in the scope of supply.

Contracted in 2012 and completed in 2013, SPEC rendered the Design, Detailed Engineering and Fabrication of two (2) Glycol Dehydration Units (TEG and EG) for the Treatment of Flare Gas for Geo Energy Group. The additional scope also included two (2) Separator Packages, Pumping Skid, Condensate Stabilization Unit, Heat Exchangers and Control and Safety Shutdown System

Gas Preparation Unit at Makat includes the following:

In 2016, Gas Train Ltd. awarded SPEC with the revamp, optimization and commissioning of its Egbaoma Gas Processing Plant (100 Ton/day LPG Extraction Facility) including engineering, project management, procurement and fabrication, construction management, commissioning and O&M in Ebedei, Ukwuani Local Government Area in the Delta State of Nigeria

Up to the present (2022), Operation and Maintenance of the facility is with an average production of 30 MMSCFD with recovered LPG 100 ton/day (Propane + Propane/Butane Blend) and 200 BPD Recovered NGL.
