10,000 BPD Early Production Facility

This is SPEC’s first project with Hunt Oil, signed in January 2016 and completed immediately in 2017. SPEC provided the Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of 10,000 BPD very high sour oil early production facility, at the Ain Sifni block in Kurdistan, Iraq.

The services also include the following major processing equipment:

Direct fired heater
Three-phase separators (heavy and light crude)
Electrostatic Dehydrator and Desalter
H2S stripping column with nitrogen generation package

Modular Heavy Coalescer & Balance Vessel Skids

CPECC & Exxon Mobil awarded this project to SPEC in December 2016 and was promptly completed in 2017. SPEC rendered the Design Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Fabrication and Commissioning of a Modular Extra Heavy Coalescer and a Balance Vessel Skids for Exxon Mobil’s 100,000 BOPD Wet Crude Treatment Project in West Qurna I, Iraq.

SPEC was awarded this project in April 2017 and was duly delivered in early 2018. 6500 BPSD Naphtha Reforming Gasoline Complex

In June of 2019, SPEC was awarded a big project by Fox Oil Company for an Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning of a 6500 BPD Gasoline Production Complex in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The production facility will include all related utilities, tankages, loading/unloading, auxiliaries, and buildings. The main process unit includes Naphtha HDT. Amidst the pandemic, the project completion is set in early 2022.
